God is One, and the essence of all religions is the same.

God is One, and the essence of all religions is the same. The first religion of this world is the Eternal Religion — the timeless, universal truth. All other religions are but branches of this Eternal Religion. It is pertinent to note that the Eternal Religion is known as Sanātana Dharma. Sanātana Dharma is regarded as the Eternal Religion because it embodies eternal and universal truths and principles, believed to be the foundation of all spiritual paths. It is the oldest — and eternal — spiritual tradition in the world, providing the essence from which numerous other religions and philosophies have emerged. Thus, the essence of all religions is often seen as the same.  Sanātana Dharma is associated with what is today called Hinduism; in other words, Hinduism is another name for Sanātana Dharma. The Essence Of All Religions. The fundamental principles of truth, non-violence, love, compassion, mercy, sacrifice, chastity, morality, honesty, and conscientiousness are at the heart of ...

Difference between God (Paramatman) and the individual soul (Jīva Ātman)

Image
The relationship between God (Paramatman) and the individual soul (Jīva Ātman)   The relationship between God (Paramatman) and the individual soul (Jīva Ātman) is a fundamental concept in Hindu philosophy, particularly in Vedanta. Different schools of thought offer varying interpretations of this relationship: Advaita Vedanta (Non-Dualism ) The individual soul (Jīva Ātman) and God (Brahman) are ultimately one. The perception of individuality arises due to Maya (illusion). Once ignorance (Avidya) is removed, the Jīva realizes its true nature. Example: A wave appears distinct from the ocean but is ultimately just water (ocean =  Paramatman , wave = Jīva). Vishishtadvaita Vedanta (Qualified Non-Dualism ) The Jīva Ātman is a part of Brahman but not identical to it. The individual soul is real but exists as an inseparable part of God, much like a cell within a body. Liberation (Moksha) is attained through devotion (Bhakti) and realizing the soul’s dependence on God. Example:...

Virtue & Sins- The Choice Within.

Image
Virtue & Sins- The Choice Within. Virtue, a light that lifts us high, A quiet grace beneath the sky. It guards our path, our dreams, our fate, And keeps us steady, strong, and straight. Sins weigh us down with stress and strain, Leaving marks, a darkened stain. But virtue heals, so pure and bright, Like summer rain in morning light. So pause and ponder, choose what’s right— The road of virtue, clear and bright, Or tempting vice that may entice— The choice is yours: virtue or vice. For in each choice, our soul will sway, And in our steps, our fate will lay. In balance held, the heart shall see The power of choice to set it free.

The relationship between God (The Supreme Soul) and the human Soul

Image
The relationship between God (The Supreme Soul) and the human soul is often described as eternal, spiritual, and deeply personal. Across various spiritual traditions, this relationship is understood in different ways, but some common themes emerge: 1.God as the Supreme Father/Parent – God is a divine parent, the ultimate source of all souls. The human soul is considered an eternal child of God, meant to stay in a loving connection with the Supreme Soul. 2.God as the Guide and Teacher – God is often seen as the ultimate teacher who imparts wisdom and helps souls realize their true nature and purpose. This guidance leads to liberation, enlightenment, or spiritual fulfillment. 3.God as the Purifier – The human soul is believed to accumulate impurities through karma and worldly attachments. God is seen as the Supreme Purifier who helps souls return to their original pure state. 4.God as the Supreme Power and Light – The Supreme Soul is the ocean of peace, love, and wisdom, while the human ...

The Illusion of Divinity.

Image
The Illusion of Divinity The chariot thinks, “I am divine,” Its wheels roll proud on a sacred line. With painted form and gilded grace, It moves as though to take God’s place. The idol stands in silent pride, “I am divine,” it claims inside. Crowned with jewels in a shining shrine, Glistening bright, it feels just fine. The priest believes he's truly wise, Clothed in holy, ceremonious guise. He proclaims, “Come unto me for grace, For I alone hold God's own place.” In sacred robes, with solemn pace, He walks as master of the hallowed space. But in the crowd, a poor soul stood, Silent, humble, pure in heart and mood. He softly prayed to the True Divine, “Oh God, please come, and truly shine.” Hearing this, the True God laughed, So soft, so wise—a golden craft. Then gently rose in radiant light, Like stars that pierce the endless night.

Eternal Soul

Image
Eternal Soul The body fades, like dusk at dawn, Yet the soul, a spark, moves on and on. Though flesh and bone must meet the earth, The soul is bound for endless birth. When bodies rest and breaths are gone, The spirit’s song goes ever on. A mystery deep, unseen by eyes, The soul ascends, it never dies. So let not grief consume your days, For those who part find other ways. They live in light beyond our sight, In realms of peace, in boundless light. Mourn not, dear friends, for life goes on, A cycle vast, a timeless song.
