The Eternal Soul: Eternal by God’s Will, Not Its Own.
The soul is eternal , unborn, and indestructible. It does not perish with the body, nor is it diminished by time, death, or change. Weapons cannot cut it, fire cannot burn it, water cannot drown it, and wind cannot dry it. The soul is not a product of matter but a conscious principle created by God. Because God is the source and sustainer of the soul , no force in creation has the authority or power to destroy it. Only the Creator, who brings the soul into existence, holds absolute sovereignty over its being. Yet God does not destroy the soul, for the soul is created to journey, to learn, and ultimately to realize its divine source. Death ends only the body; the soul continues its passage according to its karma , carrying its impressions until knowledge, devotion, or divine grace leads it to liberation .
